This is an exceptional copper 2/3 Falus coin from the Bijapur Sultanate, minted during the reign of Muhammad Adil Shah (1627-1656 AD / AH 1037-1068). The coin weighs 7.46 grams and features intricate Persian couplet inscriptions on both sides, reflecting the sophisticated numismatic artistry of the Deccan sultanates.

The obverse bears the inscription “Jahan zin do Muhammad girift zinat-o jah,” while the reverse reads “Yake Muhammad-i-Mursal duwan Muhammad Shah,” showcasing the ruler’s devotion and authority.
