The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is an intergovernmental organization that was founded in 1981. Its goal is to promote economic integration and harmonization, protect human and legal rights, and encourage good governance between countries and territories in the Eastern Caribbean. 

This includes eight independent states: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.
