2 Rupees Note Information:-
This 2 Rupees Note was issued on 3rd March 1943.This 2 Rupees note used to be signed by the R.B.I Governor J B Taylor and Side face portrait of King George Vi was made on this note. British India had 4 different issues in yesterday’s 2 rupees note. In which the first issue was J B Taylor Signature and the color of his serial number was black. The second note that was issued had the signature of C.D Deshmukh ji and its serial numbers were also written with black ink.



The 3rd issue note in these 2 rupees notes is also signed by C.D Deshmukh’s signature, although serial number of this note was written with red ink, and this note is considered as a rare category Not. The special thing about these notes was that they were issued after independence i.e. in the year 1949. Apart from this, there is a 4th issue note on which Government of Pakistan is written. These notes were made by RBI, but they were made especially for Pakistan because immediately after independence they did not have any currency of their own. Although the entire design was similar to that of the India Note. So this fourth issue note was also issued after independence in 1948. The remaining three notes were withdrawn on 27 October 1957.

The first issue note of these 2 Rupees which was signed by J B Taylor and it’s serial number was written with black ink. so, this Notes comes in Scare Category, whose price begins with 5,000 – 10,000 Rupees in Fine Condition, and in UNC condition this note will give you value of 10,000 – 12,000 Rupees.
The 2nd issue Note which was signed by C.B Deshmukh and the serial number of this note was written with black ink, were also comes in the Scare category. Price of this Note begins with 3,000 – 10,000 Rupees. Although, the 3rd note is the most rarest note among all these i.e. C.D Deshmukh signed note and the serial number of which is written with red ink. So, the price of these 3rd issue note begins with 10,000 – 50,000 Rupees. One such note(3rd issue) of UNC Condition has been auctioned in 2019 at the cost of 90,000.
Now, lets talk about the 4th issue note i.e. Government of Pakistan note , this note comes in extremely rare category . So, the price of these 4th issue note begins with 20,000 – 90,000 Rupees and in UNC condition it can give you 1 lakh rupees. This note was auctioned in 2019 by classical numismatic gallery, in fine condition it was sold at 85,000 rupees. So, If this note was in UNC condition then, it could have cost more than 1 lakh.
