Rare 5 Rupees definitive coin of Republic India dated 2000, struck in cupro-nickel at the Noida mint. The reverse carries the large numeral 5 with “रुपये” above and “RUPEES” below, flanked by the floral and cereal sprays of the standard design, with the date 2000 at the foot and the Noida dot mint mark centred beneath it. The obverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with “सत्यमेव जयते” below, “भारत” to the left and “INDIA” to the right.
