A circulated 5 Rupees coin of the Republic of India dated 2001, struck at the Foreign Mint. The reverse shows the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the legend “भारत” and “INDIA” and the motto “सत्यमेव जयते” below, while the obverse carries the large numeral 5 flanked by the lotus and stalk motifs, with “रुपये”, “RUPEES” and the date beneath.
