Error 2 Rupees 2005 Rotated Die Error Noida Mint Republic India Coin

A Rare mint error 2 Rupees of 2005 from the Unity in Diversity definitive series, carrying a clear rotated die error. With the reverse held upright the obverse is turned roughly 45-55 degrees clockwise, so the Lion Capital sits askew, the "भारत INDIA" legend runs down the right-hand side and the date has swung round towards the lower left.

• Error: rotated die, obverse about 45-55 degrees out of alignment with the reverse.
• Both faces are well centred with a complete rim, so this is rotation alone, not an off-centre strike.
• The straight parallel diagonal lines on the obverse are incuse post-mint scratches, not die cracks.
• Denomination: 2 Rupees; date: 2005.
• Mint: not attributed, as the area below the date is scuffed and unreadable.
• Metal: ferritic stainless steel; diameter about 28.3 mm.
• Condition: Very Fine, with honest circulation marks.
• Mint: Noida Mint
