Weighing 24.83 grams with a diameter of 38.60 mm, this milled round coin captures a dynamic soccer moment, celebrating the excitement of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It forms part of the acclaimed "World of Football" series, which pays tribute to the sport's global passion through beautifully designed legal tender coins. The reverse design vividly portrays a footballer executing a dramatic overhead kick, symbolizing athletic skill and the thrill of the game—an artistic nod to football's universal appeal during one of its most celebrated tournaments. As a piece of the Republic of Uganda's modern coinage (1962-date), it reflects the nation's participation in global numismatic trends blending sports history with fine minting artistry. This coin is a fantastic addition for collectors of silver coins, football memorabilia enthusiasts, and numismatists interested in unique World Cup tribute issues. Its high silver purity, sharp detailing, and thematic rarity make it a valuable and eye-catching collectible, ideal for both display and long-term investment.
